Join us as Regional Asset Maintenance Planning Manager

 

We are looking for an experienced maintenance planning professional to drive planning excellence, governance, capability development, and continuous improvement across multiple terminals within the region. The Regional Asset Maintenance Planning Manager (RAMPM) acts as the regional subject matter expert for maintenance planning and scheduling, supporting terminals in improving planning maturity, increasing planned work execution, reducing reactive maintenance, and improving asset reliability.

 

This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys coaching others, leading change, influencing stakeholders, and helping organizations transition from reactive maintenance environments to proactive, world-class maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive compliance with global maintenance planning and scheduling standards.
  • Support terminals in achieving maintenance planning maturity targets.
  • Establish governance routines and facilitate planning and performance reviews.
  • Coach and develop terminal Planning Managers and Maintenance Planners.
  • Improve planning quality, resource utilization, schedule attainment, and maintenance productivity.
  • Support long, medium, and short-term maintenance planning processes.
  • Promote effective use of EAM/CMMS systems and work management processes.
  • Collaborate with reliability teams to improve asset performance and maintenance effectiveness.
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance optimization initiatives.
  • Provide analytical insights through reporting, KPIs, and business intelligence tools.
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to drive transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of maintenance planning experience within heavy asset industries.
  • Proven experience implementing maintenance planning and scheduling standards.
  • Experience supporting Asset Management transformation programs.
  • Strong experience with CMMS/EAM platforms such as SAP, IFS, Maximo, Infor EAM, or similar systems.
  • Ability to navigate complex regional environments and drive sustainable change.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced maintenance planning and scheduling expertise.
  • Strong understanding of work management processes and lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of ISO 55000 principles and asset lifecycle management.
  • Data analysis and performance reporting capabilities.
  • Experience improving reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational performance.
  • Fluent in both Spanish & English.
