The Role

We are hiring a Regional Director to grow the 3i community in Singapore.

This role is about driving new member growth. It is also about engaging the members you bring in and keeping retention high, which means making sure they get real value out of the community: in deals, at events, and by connecting to other members both in person and online.

Those two things feed each other. The members getting the most out of 3i are the ones who introduce the people they respect. That is where your pipeline comes from, and the best Regional Directors understand that early.

How Growth Works Here

3i has grown entirely through member referrals since 2021. Your pipeline comes from inside the community, not from a cold list: members who believe in this enough to put their own name behind an introduction.

Every conversation you have starts warm. The people you are talking to have already been successful. They join because this community is worth their time.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• New member growth in Singapore. Source introductions from your members, run the membership conversation, and take prospective members through references and invitation.

• Getting new members active quickly. Own onboarding so they are into the platform, on the events calendar, and connected to other members in their first weeks, to make sure they are set up for success.

• Making sure your members get what they joined for. Deals they actually want to see, events they actually attend, introductions that actually matter to them.

• Prepared quarterly conversations with every member you bring in. Not a status call. Here are members you should meet, here is the event you should be at, here is a deal I thought you would want to see.

• Partnering with the investment team so your members hear about deals that fit what they invest in.

• Events in your market. Our Events team handles logistics. You identify the theme, curate the room, and host. Small curated dinners and larger events are both part of the strategy.

• Running a consistent process. Every conversation logged in HubSpot, every call recorded on Gong. That is how we coach, and it is how you get better faster than you would somewhere else.

You're The Right Fit If

• You have 3+ years in a customer-facing role, ideally while carrying a quota. Experience with sophisticated buyers helps. It is not a requirement.

• You ask for the business. You are comfortable asking a member for an introduction and comfortable asking a prospective member to join.

• You want to be coached. Your calls get reviewed and you get specific, direct feedback every week. The people who do well here want that and act on it.

• You are internally motivated. When there is nothing on the calendar, you already know what you are doing next and you do not wait to be told.

• You are curious and you take notes. You ask the second question, not just the first, and you walk into the next conversation remembering exactly what the person told you in the last one.

• You are credible with accomplished people. Our members are discerning and they can tell the difference between someone who has done the work and someone who has not. Executive presence is required.

• You move with urgency and you would rather be held to a high standard than a comfortable one.

Compensation

• Base salary: $120,000 to $130,000

• Target Variable: $120,000, paid quarterly

• On-target earnings: $240,000 to $250,000

• Equity participation

• Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401(k)

• Reports to the Executive Director for the region
