Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a RAW Materials Senior Team Leader to join our Quality Control team in our Pallini premises. 

As a RAW Materials Senior Team Leader, the ideal candidate will ensure that each individual batch has been analyzed in compliance with regulations in force and in accordance with the requirements of the MA and the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). 

Requirements

What you will do:

More particularly:

• Handle all matters related to imported/exported raw materials, including documentation, contractor certification and dossier preparation
• Maintain raw materials records, labeling and recheck stocked materials
• Oversee controls and records, approve files and update involved parties
• Ensure GMP compliance and perform packaging checks per procedures
• Collaborate with partners, contractors and clients on quality matters
• Participate in method validations as needed
• Support process improvements and projects on qualification, optimization and risk management
• Assign tasks to lab analysts and provide on the job training to new team members
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and raw materials technologies
• Work with authorities and support audits and inspections

The ideal candidate should have:

• Minimum a BSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field
• At least 4 years of experience within a pharmaceutical environment with a focus on raw materials management or quality control
• Experience in a GMP or GLP environment
• Management experience required
