We are looking for an experienced Radio Optimization Supervisor to lead a team at the heart of mobile network performance and evolution.

In this role, you will combine deep RAN expertise with technical leadership, guiding optimization activities across multiple radio technologies and translating network insights into actions that enhance performance, capacity and customer experience.

You will work alongside highly experienced telecom professionals in a complex multi-operator environment, contributing to the continuous evolution of the mobile networks we design, optimize and operate on behalf of our shareholders.

About the Role

As Radio Optimization Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating Radio Network optimization activities, ensuring effective identification, analysis and resolution of network performance issues.

You will provide technical direction to the team, oversee complex optimization cases and ensure that network insights are translated into well-defined optimization, redesign and capacity actions.

The role requires strong technical expertise across 2G/4G/5G technologies, combined with the ability to lead people, manage priorities and collaborate effectively across Network Engineering teams and key stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead and coordinate the Radio Optimization team for one of our shareholders, setting priorities, allocating activities and providing technical guidance and coaching to team members.
• Take ownership of RAN performance assessment and optimization, ensuring systematic monitoring and analysis of network KPIs, service performance indicators, field measurements and signaling behavior.
• Drive the investigation of complex network performance issues, identifying patterns and root causes and defining appropriate corrective actions through parameter optimization, feature configuration, site redesign or other network interventions.
• Ensure the effective use of network performance data, counters, configuration information and analytics to support fact-based technical decisions and continuous network improvement.
• Coordinate optimization activities with RAN Design, Technology, Deployment, Operations and other relevant teams, ensuring alignment across the end-to-end network lifecycle.
• Act as a technical escalation point for advanced RAN performance and optimization topics and support the resolution of high-impact or cross-functional network issues.
• Lead and contribute to RAN optimization and performance improvement projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for automation, advanced analytics and optimization process improvements, contributing to greater efficiency, consistency and scalability of Radio Optimization activities.
• Monitor emerging RAN technologies, features and optimization methodologies and support their effective introduction into the network environment.

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• University Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical field.
• Significant professional experience in Radio Network Optimization, Performance Management and/or RAN Engineering, ideally within a mobile operator, network vendor or managed services environment.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of GSM,  LTE and 5G technologies, radio principles and end-to-end mobile service performance.
• Deep expertise in RAN performance KPIs, counters, parameters, signaling procedures and optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of RAN design, dimensioning, capacity planning and radio configuration principles.
• Proven ability to perform root-cause analysis of complex network performance issues and translate findings into effective technical actions.
• Experience with signaling trace analysis, particularly in relation to mobile data services and service performance.
• Experience with advanced radio planning and optimization tools, including automated frequency and LTE/5G PCI planning capabilities.
• Strong analytical and data-handling capabilities; SQL knowledge and experience combining configuration and performance data for network analysis will be highly valued.
• Previous experience in leading, supervising or technically coordinating engineers, with the ability to coach others and build technical capability within a team.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear recommendations and priorities.
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving and decision-making skills.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional network environment.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on knowledge of Huawei RAN solutions and software.
• Experience with Rohde & Schwarz / SwissQual solutions and Actix.
• Experience with Atoll or equivalent radio planning tools.
• Experience with network analytics, scripting or automation solutions.
• Postgraduate Degree in Telecommunications, Mobile Communications or a related field.
