Job Responsibilities:

• Tracking and analysing defect trends by product category and SKU, so issues are caught early
• Leading root-cause investigations with our Product, RMA and Operations teams, using returned units, repair data and customer feedback.
• Working with suppliers and our Product team to drive corrective actions, and follow through on design and firmware changes
• Keeping a close eye on new product launches so early issues are caught and fixed quickly.
• Sharing clear, data-backed quality updates with leadership and turn them into agreed actions.
• Building the processes and tools for a quality function that grows with the business.
• Any other adhoc activites as assigned by the Company.

Requirements

• Experience in product quality, supplier quality or quality engineering, ideally in consumer electronics, appliances or similar hardware.
• A structured approach to problem-solving, with hands-on use of methods like 8D, 5-whys or fishbone analysis.
• Experience working with overseas manufacturers to resolve quality issues.
• Comfort with data - you can spot a real trend in a spreadsheet or dashboard and explain it simply.
• The ability to bring different teams together and get things done without formal authority.
• Curiosity about how products work and how they fail, whether the cause is hardware, firmware or batteries.
