Position Summary

Quality inspection role responsible for material-movement transactions, in-process and final inspection, inspection-result data entry, failure-analysis support, reporting, and participation in daily team meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality-control inspection, including material-movement transactions and in-process and final inspection.
• Enter individual inspection results in the Quality database.
• Assist with failure analysis and related reports.
• Attend and participate in daily team meetings.
• May assist with shadow training for non-exempt associates.
• Maintain accurate, detailed logs and recognize deviations from accepted practice.
• Follow established procedures for routine work and obtain instructions for new assignments.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Typically one to two years of related experience.
• Ability to use simple hand tools related to measurement and inspection.
• Basic working ability with Microsoft Word and Excel, PDF tools, and Outlook.
• Ability to maintain accurate, detailed logs, multi-task, follow written and verbal instructions, and work in a dynamic, diverse, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field.
• Communication, computer, accountability, dependability, quality, initiative, teamwork, and attention-to-detail competencies.

Work Environment and Physical Expectations

• Reaching is occasional; standing ranges from occasional to continuous; sitting is occasional; manual dexterity is continuous.
