Introduction to the job

At our Berlin site, our employees manufacture key components for ASML lithography systems. As part of our precision manufacturing team, you support the production of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass-ceramics, and ceramics for our high-tech small-batch, single-part, and prototype production.

Role and responsibilities

As a Quality Engineer for Technical Incoming Inspection, you will:

• Coordinate quality-related communication with suppliers and service providers regarding non-conformities, complaints, and corrective actions.

• Process supplier complaints and drive sustainable solutions for quality improvement.

• Apply quality methodologies and structured root cause analyses to identify and permanently resolve quality deviations.

• Closely collaborate with Production, Quality, Supplier Management, Engineering, and other cross-functional interfaces in the assessment and resolution of product deviations.

• Analyze quality performance indicators, prepare reports, and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Initiate and lead projects and measures aimed at the continuous improvement of technical and organizational incoming inspection processes.

• Review inspection plans, conduct First Article Inspections (FAI), and support the associated documentation activities.

Education and experience

• Completed degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

• Experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, incoming inspection, or manufacturing environments

• Experience conducting inspections, measurements, and technical evaluations of components or assemblies

• Knowledge of quality standards, quality management systems, and structured problem-solving methodologies

• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality reporting methods

• Good written and spoken German and English language skills.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Qualitätsingenieur:in technischer Wareneingang wirst du:

• die qualitätsbezogene Kommunikation mit Lieferanten und Dienstleistern zu Abweichungen, Reklamationen und Korrekturmaßnahmen koordinieren.

• Reklamationen bearbeiten sowie nachhaltige Lösungen zur Qualitätsverbesserung vorantreiben.

• Qualitätsmethoden und strukturierte Ursachenanalysen anwenden, um Qualitätsabweichungen nachhaltig zu identifizieren und zu beheben.

• eng mit der Produktion, Quality, Supplier Management, Engineering und weiteren Schnittstellen bei der Bewertung und Bearbeitung von Produktabweichungen zusammenarbeiten.

• Qualitätskennzahlen analysieren, Berichte erstellen sowie Audits und Verbesserungsprojekte unterstützen.

• Projekte und Maßnahmen zur kontinuierlichen Verbesserung der technischen und organisatorischen Wareneingangsprozesse initiieren und leiten.

• Prüfpläne reviewen sowie Erstmusterprüfungen durchführen und die zugehörige Dokumentation begleiten.

Deine Qualifikation

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Ingenieurwesen, Qualitätsmanagement, Fertigungstechnik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.

• Erfahrung im Qualitätswesen, in der Qualitätssicherung, Wareneingangsprüfung oder im Produktionsumfeld

• Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Prüfungen, Messungen und technischen Bewertungen von Komponenten oder Baugruppen

• Kenntnisse von Qualitätsstandards, Qualitätsmanagementsystemen und strukturierten Problemlösungsmethoden

• Sicherer Umgang mit SAP und Microsoft Excel

• Kenntnisse statistischer Auswertungen und Qualitätsreporting-Methoden

• Gute Deutsch- sowie Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
