Job Description

David Yurman is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Temp Associate with previous jewelry inspection or quality control experience to support product inspection and quality assurance activities within our operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and functional inspections of fine jewelry products.

• Identify, document, and communicate quality issues, defects, and workmanship concerns.

• Verify products meet established quality standards and specifications.

• Support inventory accuracy, product flow, and quality control processes.

• Maintain accurate inspection records and follow established procedures.

Qualifications

• Required: Previous jewelry quality control, jewelry inspection, jewelry manufacturing, or jewelry repair experience.

• Strong understanding of jewelry construction, finishes, stone setting, and craftsmanship standards.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies.

• Basic computer proficiency and experience working with operational systems.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Diamond knowledge and gemstone identification experience are a plus.

• Full-time, on-site 5 days a week (Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm)

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience inspecting fine jewelry, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
