Job Purpose: The QA/QC Inspector is responsible for the inspection, sampling and quality control of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and company quality requirements.

Responsibilities/Results

The job holder:

• Conducts sampling of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products in accordance with approved procedures at internal and external warehouses.
• Performs inspections of materials at internal and external warehouses.
• Identifies and documents quality issues, deviations and non-conformities.
• Verifies the status and location of released, quarantined and blocked materials/products.
• Monitors storage conditions and reports any deviations.
• Participates in in-process quality controls during manufacturing and packaging activities.
• Supports quality investigations, complaint management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with GMP requirements and quality procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Warehousing or in a manufacturing environment.
• BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Science, or a related scientific field will be an asset.
• Good understanding of GMP principles and quality systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer literacy; SAP and Microsoft Office knowledge will be considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Valid driving licence.
