As a PTPA- Associate, you will engage with clients to provide strategic tax consulting services, helping them navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. Within our Tax practice, you will focus on partnership tax, addressing tax-related issues that impact businesses across various areas, including local and foreign income and transaction tax compliance. As an Associate, you will be driven by curiosity and contribute to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will learn to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns for clients

- Develop strategies to enhance clients' tax positions

- Engage in client interactions to build foundational knowledge

- Maintain a proactive approach to tax compliance tasks

- Collaborate with team members to improve processes

- Analyze tax-related data to inform recommendations

- Participate in ongoing training to deepen accounting knowledge

- Uphold the firm's standards and regulatory requirements

-Assisting in the preparation and review of partnership tax returns and related documents
- Supporting tax compliance efforts by gathering and analyzing relevant data
- Engaging in tax research to provide insights on local and international tax regulations
- Collaborating with team members to deliver tax consulting services on strategic matters
- Drafting tax documents and reports to support client engagements
- Applying technical knowledge to address direct and indirect tax issues
- Participating in the development of tax planning strategies for clients
- Contributing to the preparation of corporate tax returns and documentation
- Maintaining awareness of current tax legislation and regulatory changes
- Utilizing analytical skills to discern patterns and inform tax strategies
- Building commercial awareness to understand client business operations and needs

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, Computer Systems Analysis, or relevant technical or engineering degree or Commerce MBA (finance related) or M.Com
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
