  • Support annual compensation planning, budgeting, forecasting, and provider true-up processes.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

  • Provide actionable financial insights that help leaders understand key drivers of provider compensation expense and clinic performance.
  • Support provider-level, service-line, and clinic-level financial analysis.

Data Validation & Reconciliation

  • Reconcile compensation calculations to payroll records, productivity reporting, source systems, and financial statements.
  • Validate provider roster information, compensation terms, productivity measures, and other critical inputs.
  • Investigate discrepancies across payroll, finance, operational, and provider productivity data.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit-ready support for all compensation calculations.

  • Review employment agreements, compensation plans, exhibits, and amendments to identify key financial terms.
  • Maintain compensation schedules, assumptions, and supporting documentation.
  • Support provider onboarding, compensation changes, contract renewals, and terminations.
  • Respond to compensation-related inquiries and provide clear explanations of compensation calculations and methodologies.
  • Assist with internal and external audit requests.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline provider compensation calculations and reporting processes.
  • Develop standardized reporting tools, controls, templates, and documentation.
  • Partner with operational and finance teams to continuously improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookup functions, complex formulas, and financial modeling.
  • Experience reconciling large, complex datasets and identifying data discrepancies.
  • Ability to interpret contractual terms and translate them into accurate financial calculations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage confidential financial information.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to both finance and operational leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in physician/provider compensation, medical group finance, clinic operations, or healthcare consulting.
  • Working knowledge of physician productivity and compensation metrics, including wRVUs.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, payroll reconciliation, or compensation planning.
  • Experience using Power BI, Power Query, SQL, or other business intelligence and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with healthcare financial, HR, payroll, or provider productivity systems.
