AFS is seeking a Project Officer for a remote role, based out of Springfield, VA. The Project Officer will be responsible for the planning, coordination of sensitive mission, intelligence/signature reduction and operational support. They will be responsible to synchronize complex operational support activities. The Project Officer will also serve as a requirements senior task SME and advisor relating to sensitive activities, signature reduction and operations support.
The Work:
- Plan, advise, and support cross functional government teams
- Provide strategy and policy advice.
- Interface and collaborate with all source analysts.
- Review incoming field reports and disseminate reporting to Project Officer and/or Reports Officer for final approval.
- Coordinate with Senior Ops/Deputy Ops manager to determine required/desired parameters for successful collection and effective follow-up.
- Notify Senior Ops/Deputy Ops manager of collection accomplishment and satisfaction of data.
- Elicit feedback and take appropriate action to ascertain quality reports.
- Provide operational input to the Senior Ops/Deputy Ops manager for ongoing cases, provide timely guidance, including identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Assist in coordinating, and/ or monitor reports and production.
Here's what you need:
- 15+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Sensitive operational and inter agency support
- Leadership and management experience
- HUMINT, Signature reduction support and infrastructure development
- Experience in risk management/reduction.

- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Be able to communicate details clearly and effectively verbally as well as in writing.
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively follow-through and manage reporting and project communications.
Security Clearance:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have a Top Secret Clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
