Project Manager, IRT System Design

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage the operational delivery of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) projects and programs.

In this highly consultative role, you will work closely with clients to understand their study protocols and translate these requirements into effective IRT solutions. You will use your IRT knowledge and project management expertise to ensure systems are successfully designed, implemented and delivered, helping to ensure patients receive the correct study treatment in accordance with the Sponsor's study protocol.

You will manage projects throughout the delivery lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams, maintaining project timelines and budgets, and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable SOPs, policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

IRT Study Delivery

• Analyse study protocols and work with clients to understand their IRT system requirements.
• Advise clients on the most effective approach to configuring an IRT system for their study.
• Author User Requirements Documents (URDs) and review requirements with client study teams and internal stakeholders.
• Use your IRT expertise to support the successful design, build and implementation of study systems.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with the Sponsor's study protocol and agreed requirements.

Project Management

• Create, maintain and report against project plans, timelines and key milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and resources both within and outside the organisation.
• Meet regularly with project team members to review tasks, progress, risks and milestones.
• Lead problem-solving and resolution activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets and invoices.
• Ensure projects are delivered against agreed quality, timeline and performance metrics.

Testing & Client Support

• Perform internal User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside Technical Operations and Technical Project Management teams following study validation.
• Manage client UAT activities in partnership with the Technical Project Management team.
• Actively support clients throughout UAT, responding to questions and clarifying study or system requirements.
• Coordinate the resolution of issues identified during testing.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Partner with other Project Managers to identify and implement process improvements.
• Contribute to project proposals and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
• May participate in proposal development and sales or client presentations.
• Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with established processes, policies, procedures and project standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects against quality and timeline expectations.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Strong customer service and client-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and clients.

Ideally, You Will Bring

• Experience working within IRT, clinical trials, clinical technology or a related environment.
• Experience translating study protocols or client requirements into system requirements.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across technical, operational and client-facing teams.
• Confidence working directly with clients in a consultative project management capacity.
