U.S. Bank is seeking a Project Manager to support project delivery, portfolio governance, Agile execution, and work management practices across the Business Banking Product Marketing organization. This role is responsible for maintaining project visibility, facilitating Agile delivery practices, supporting portfolio governance, and ensuring teams have the tools, processes, and reporting needed to successfully deliver business outcomes. 

The position serves as a key partner to business leaders, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams by driving project organization, milestone management, stakeholder communication, and operational execution. The Project Manager will also serve as a subject matter expert for project management tools and workflows, with a primary focus on Asana administration and operations, process standardization, reporting, and adoption support. 

This position serves as the operational backbone of the Business Banking Product Marketing organization by providing project management discipline, Agile ceremony facilitation, portfolio governance, reporting, and administration of project management tools. The role helps ensure strategic initiatives are organized, visible, executed consistently, and aligned to organizational priorities while driving adoption of standardized delivery practices and tools. 

Responsibilities 

• Coordinate and support multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, ensuring deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and timelines are maintained and communicated effectively. 

• Facilitate Agile delivery activities and project management ceremonies including project planning sessions, standups, backlog reviews, status meetings, stakeholder reviews, and retrospectives. 

• Maintain project documentation, action item tracking, decision logs, risk registers, and status reporting to support effective project execution and governance. 

• Develop, administer, and enhance project management workflows, templates, portfolios, dashboards, and reporting structures within Asana and related project management platforms. 

• Support portfolio governance activities by establishing and maintaining consistent project phases, milestone definitions, workflow standards, and reporting practices. 

• Analyze project data and reporting outputs to identify trends, resource considerations, execution risks, and opportunities for improved delivery performance. 

• Partner with business stakeholders, project sponsors, technology teams, and functional leaders to gather requirements, resolve issues, manage dependencies, and support project delivery. 

• Prepare executive-ready reporting and presentations that provide visibility into project status, portfolio health, milestone achievement, risks, and key initiatives. 

• Support onboarding, training, adoption, and continuous improvement efforts related to project management methodologies, governance processes, and project management platforms. 

• Identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational efficiency, project execution, reporting capabilities, and overall project management maturity across the organization. 

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.  

• Typically four or more years of applicable project management, project coordination, business analysis, operations, PMO, or program support experience. 

Preferred Skills/Experience 

• Working knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and delivery practices. 

• Experience coordinating Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid project delivery approaches within a development or software engineering environment. 

• Strong project planning, prioritization, organization, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. 

• Experience facilitating project meetings, workshops, stakeholder reviews, and team ceremonies. 

• Proficiency in project management and work management platforms such as Asana, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar tools. 

• Experience developing project dashboards, portfolio reporting, executive summaries, and status communications. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend process improvements. 

• Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across varying levels of the organization. 

• Proficient computer navigation skills using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and related reporting tools. 

• Experience supporting change management, risk and compliance, process improvement, workflow design, governance, administration, and tool adoption initiatives. 

• Applicable professional certifications such as CAPM, PMP, Agile, Scrum, CSM or similar credentials are preferred.
