About this Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong background in pharmaceutical construction projects, including GMP‑regulated environments, cleanrooms, utilities, and manufacturing infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading capital project execution from planning through turnover, ensuring compliance, safety, and delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end construction project lifecycle for pharmaceutical facility expansions, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contractor oversight.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with GMP, FDA, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, and site standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, validation, operations, EHS, and external vendors.
• Oversee construction documentation, change controls, risk assessments, and project reporting.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and resolve technical or logistical issues.
• Manage utilities and critical systems construction (HVAC, clean utilities, process utilities, electrical distribution, mechanical systems).
• Prepare project dashboards, status updates, and presentations for leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost control, and adherence to project governance.

Qualifications/Requirements:        

• Bachelor’s degree in BSEE, BSME or BSCE.
• 10+ years of experience managing construction projects in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industrial environments.
• Proven experience with GMP facilities, cleanrooms, utilities, and manufacturing support systems.
• Strong knowledge of construction codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead contractors and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar).

   Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commissioning, qualification, and validation.
• Knowledge of automation systems, mechanical/electrical utilities, and critical infrastructure.
• Experience managing fast-paced capital projects with aggressive timelines.
