What this job involves:
As a Professional within our Project and Development Services (PDS) team, you'll take ownership of medium-complexity construction and fit-out projects from conception through completion. You'll be the central point of coordination, bringing together architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to deliver exceptional results that meet scope, budget, and timeline commitments. You'll manage every phase of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and procurement through execution and handover, ensuring quality standards and safety protocols are upheld at every turn. Your ability to navigate complexity, anticipate risks, and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders will be essential to driving successful project outcomes. What your day-to-day will look like:
Lead medium-scale construction, renovation, and fit-out projects from planning through delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project specifications
Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to maintain project momentum and quality standards
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and change management processes, proactively identifying and mitigating risks before they impact deliverables
Ensure strict compliance with quality benchmarks, safety regulations, and local building codes throughout all project phases
Prepare and deliver progress reports, risk assessments, and status updates to clients and internal stakeholders with clarity and transparency
Manage procurement processes and contract administration, negotiating terms and ensuring vendor performance meets project requirements
Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving across all project participants, serving as the primary liaison between client needs and execution teams
Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary to keep projects on track
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
3-5 years of demonstrated experience in project management within construction, fit-out, or development environments
Working knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks (PMI, PMP, or equivalent)
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders
Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar platforms
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
Preferred qualifications:
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification
Experience managing retail construction or fit-out projects, particularly in fast-paced, client-facing environments
Intermediate to advanced English language skills for communication with global teams and stakeholders
Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green building certifications
Experience working in a corporate real estate or commercial property services environment
