We’re looking for a Production Engineer to join our Industries team in Auckland. In this permanent fulltime position, you will support the team behind the production and supply of the materials that keep our projects and communities moving. From plant performance and production efficiency to quality and reliability, you’ll play a key part in helping our Auckland Industries operations deliver good work every day.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
As our Production Engineer, you’ll play a key role in improving how we plan, run, and continuously improve production outcomes across our Auckland operations. You’ll be based predominately at 4 Reliable Way, Penrose, Auckland, with work across multiple Auckland locations as needed. This is a hands-on, site-based role worked across 40 hours per week between 6am and 6pm, with a salary band of $90,000 to $100,000.
You’ll work closely with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to lift performance, solve problems, and keep standards high. You’ll be trusted to bring good ideas, back them with sound engineering thinking, and help turn them into practical results.

- Lead production and process improvement initiatives to lift efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Analyse plant and operational performance data, identify issues, and implement practical engineering solutions.
- Work closely with site teams across Auckland to troubleshoot production problems and support continuous improvement activities.
- Support safe systems of work and ensure engineering activities meet operational, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to planning, reporting, and delivery of engineering projects and technical improvements.

- A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline, which is essential.
- Experience in a production, manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data and turn insight into action.
- A collaborative, down-to-earth approach and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
