About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Strategy leader for the Branded Card business to shape and define the future of our branded credit card products.

In this role, you will:

• Manage and develop teams delivering complex profit and loss (P&L)-driven initiatives related to business product and customer performance, marketing outcomes, or operational efficiency, requiring vision, innovation, and inductive thinking with accountability for end-to-end ownership through ideation, design, execution, and measurement  
• Set strategy, priorities, and product roadmap for larger domains across teams that are aligned to growth, profitability, and risk objectives of the business 
• Define and lead problem solving, prioritization, and the application of consistent decision frameworks 
• Advise teams on complex trade-offs across customer, financial, and risk dimensions 
• Shape, review, and challenge multiple business cases to enable innovative solutions to highly complex business problems while ensuring rigor and consistency 
• Guide the team's delivery of high-quality analysis, business cases, and requirements, fostering a commitment to accountability within the team 
• Translate analytical insights covering product features, competitor developments, and macro-economic factors into portfolio‑level prioritization and roadmap recommendations 
• Influence and advise senior management and stakeholders on product and market trade-offs and sequencing and investment decisions impacting growth, cost, and risk 
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives 
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of business analysis, strategy, product, marketing, finance, credit risk, or related analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 
• 4+ years management or leadership experience 

Desired Qualifications:  

• Credit Card industry experience, especially at multiple leading credit card issuers 
• Prior experience in credit card roles as general manager responsible for portions of P&L 
• Prior experience in credit card lending roles, ideally in varying aspects of credit and lending risk (originations, customer management, fraud, collections) 
• Prior experience in roles leading launches or implementation of new products or capabilities, or integrations/transformations of technology platforms 
• Prior experience in data science or analytics roles involving projects with data infrastructure (data, platforms, models, monitoring tools) 
• Prior experience in multiple credit card segments (consumer across full risk spectrum, small business, commercial, partnerships/co-brands) 
• Strong understanding and application of risk management principles 
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to drive clarity in ambiguity while dealing with credit and operational problems 
• Professional verbal and written presentation skills   
• Expertise in credit, product, and marketing data and analysis 
• Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills based on analysis, rigorous logic, market and consumer dynamics, and operational assessments 
• A demonstrated focus on leading, coaching, mentoring and guiding team member development 

 
Job Expectations: 

• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time 
• This position offers a hybrid work schedule
