Position Summary
The Senior Product & Portfolio Marketing Manager, Retail is responsible for leading strategic product and portfolio marketing initiatives across NCR Voyix's Retail business. This role drives product positioning, messaging, go-to-market execution, and sales enablement activities that support customer acquisition, adoption, and revenue growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong product marketing expertise with a deep understanding of B2B software, SaaS, and technology-driven solutions. They will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop compelling market narratives, customer-centric value propositions, and differentiated positioning that aligns with customer needs and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop product and portfolio positioning, messaging, and value propositions that clearly differentiate NCR Voyix solutions in the market.
- Translate complex product capabilities and technical features into compelling customer-focused business outcomes.
- Lead and support go-to-market strategies, product launches, and commercialization initiatives across the Retail portfolio.
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic insights that inform marketing and product decisions.
- Create sales enablement materials, including presentations, competitive intelligence, customer-facing content, and go-to-market assets.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Sales, Demand Generation, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive portfolio growth and market adoption.
- Engage with customers, prospects, partners, and industry stakeholders to gather insights and validate messaging and positioning.
- Support thought leadership initiatives, industry events, webinars, and customer engagement programs.
- Measure and analyze marketing performance, leveraging data and insights to optimize strategy, messaging, and business outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, Industry Marketing, Solution Marketing, or Go-to-Market roles.
- Experience marketing B2B software, SaaS, cloud, retail technology, enterprise applications, or other technology-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated success developing product positioning, messaging strategies, and go-to-market programs.
- Strong understanding of customer buying journeys, market segmentation, competitive positioning, and value-based selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate market and customer insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed, and fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in Retail Technology, Commerce, POS, Payments, Omnichannel Retail, or Customer Experience solutions.
- Background in high-growth SaaS, enterprise software, or technology organizations.
- Knowledge of portfolio marketing frameworks, solution marketing, and B2B go-to-market best practices.
- Experience developing executive-level messaging, thought leadership content, and sales enablement programs.
- Familiarity with AI, automation, data analytics, and digital transformation trends.
