Sobre esta vaga de Product Lifecycle Supply Chain Project Manager na Cisco
Meet the Team
The Compute Product Operations team sits at the critical intersection of hardware innovation and global manufacturing, driving seamless New Product Introductions (NPI) across our compute portfolio. We are responsible for translating complex product engineering designs into scalable, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain operations. Our collaborative team brings together technical supply chain experts, project managers, and operations leaders who thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. By partnering closely with global engineering, commodity management, and manufacturing partners, we directly power the next generation of computing infrastructure. Join us to tackle complex operational challenges and help bring mission-critical hardware products from concept to high-volume production.
Your Impact
- Serve as the strategic supply chain backbone for New Product Introductions (NPI) to bridge the gap between product engineering, manufacturing, and global supply chain partners.
- Drive operational readiness by managing material availability, prototype build schedules, and contract manufacturer execution to ensure on-time delivery across critical build milestones.
- Lead cost Bill of Materials (BOM) risk analysis and partner with commodity teams to mitigate single-source dependencies, identify key cost drivers, and optimize overall product margins before First Customer Ship (FCS).
- Execute robust ramp and transition plans from proto builds to high-volume sustaining production to ensure supply continuity and operational stability.
- Champion cross-functional alignment and early engagement forums to harmonize product technology roadmaps with global commodity strategies
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of supply chain or manufacturing operations experience supporting hardware products from NPI through production ramp.
- Demonstrated expertise in Bill of Materials (BOM) structure management, cost driver analysis, and product lifecycle management tools (Agile PDM).
- Proven experience in material planning, prototype build scheduling, and inventory management (Purchase Price Variance and Excess & Obsolete risk mitigation).
- Strong analytical capabilities utilizing tools such as Excel, Tableau, or cost-pricing databases to evaluate lead times, cost models, and manufacturing data.
- Direct experience managing component risk analysis (single/sole-sourced parts) and driving contract manufacturer (CM) accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong background in hardware project management methodologies across complex product lifecycles.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously and resolve complex operational escalations in a fast-paced, matrixed technical environment.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical and business leaders.
- Experience leading early supplier/commodity engagement forums to align engineering technology requirements with procurement strategies.
