$175.00 - $175.00Explore an exciting opportunity with Advocate Christ Hospital & Medical Center as we eagerly welcome a skilled PRN Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with our Anesthesiology Team in Oaklawn, IL.
Position Highlights:
- Team Environment: Care Team Model with strong CRNA leadership
- Clinical Scope: Provide anesthesia services patients in both elective and emergency surgical settings. Case mix includes General Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Trauma, Neuro (heads & spine), Gynecology & Transplants. CRNAs can perform spinals, arterial line placement and some peripheral nerve blocks.

About Advocate Christ Medical Center: Advocate Christ Medical Center is a 788-bed, premier teaching institution offering a comprehensive range of services, including a Level I trauma center, advanced surgical suites, and specialized programs in cardiology, oncology, neurosciences, orthopedics, and women’s health. Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
- Nurse Anesthetist certification (CRNA) issued by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and
- Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber license issued by the state in which the team member practices, and
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration, and
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required, or
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)/American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.
Education Required:
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
