Private Patient Account Manager

Westbourne Centre - Birmingham

Full Time - 37.5 hours per week

Join our dynamic team at the Westbourne Centre, Birmingham. Part of Ramsay Health Care, the Westbourne Centre brings together a diverse group of clinical specialists that provide the highest quality procedures, treatments and patient experience for private, insured and NHS patients.

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Private Patient Manager to support and coordinate the private patient journey from initial enquiry through to admission and discharge. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for self-pay and insured patients, working closely with consultants, medical secretaries and hospital teams to ensure an outstanding patient experience. With a strong focus on enquiry management, pathway coordination and conversion, the role is responsible for maximising private patient admissions while maintaining excellent levels of patient satisfaction and stakeholder engagement.

What you’ll do:

• Act as the primary point of contact for private patients and key stakeholders.

• Understand, monitor and optimise the private patient pathway from enquiry to surgery, supporting conversion through consultant, hospital and National Enquiry Centre referrals.

• To ensure a quality service for potential private patients including accurate and timely responses to enquiries

• To provide guidance to the local hospital teams and effectively manage consultant relationships to ensure the private patient experience is consistently and exceptionally delivered.

• Manage activity in line with set KPIs on self-pay conversion and patient satisfaction.

• Maximise conversion from outpatient appointment to procedure / admit through a variety of methods

• Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants and all internal and external stakeholders to maximise opportunities and encourage loyalty

• Understand PMI networks and consultant inclusion

• Utilise the Brand hub platform to update and maintain all templated toolkits

• Develop social media content and keep platforms updated

• Support with events internally and externally (which may occasionally include a weekend)

• Carry out any other duties required to support the effective operation and development of the business.
