Who we’re looking for

Toyota’s Product Profit Lifecycle Management (PPLM) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Analyst.

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage and execute vehicle pricing activities, including analysis, forecasting, approval, and administration. The role leads pricing studies, profitability evaluations, affiliate pricing analyses, and financial reporting processes to optimize vehicle profitability and provide critical insights for executive decision-making across North America Reporting to the Profit by Model & Pricing Manager, the person in this role will support the Product Profit Lifecycle Management (PPLM) department's objective to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of business- critical outputs.

What you’ll be doing

• Conduct model year, full model change, and affiliate pricing studies to assess market dynamics and financial impacts.

• Evaluate vehicle profitability, contribution margins, and the financial implications of pricing decisions; develop pricing recommendations, analytical reports, and executive-level decision support materials.

• Collaborate with Product Lifecycle Management, Finance, Sales, and Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) stakeholders to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant pricing processes.

• Support the annual Pricing CAL update through SAP income statement analysis and material cost assessments.

• Lead the semi-annual Manufacturing Cost-related Q&A process with TMC sales division, coordinating responses and alignment across key stakeholders.

• Manage and continuously improve the price study process and database that support semi-annual Manufacturing Profit by Model analyses.

• Drive process, tool, and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities, including the implementation of Power BI and AI-enabled solutions.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Product or Program Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Strategic Cost/Profit Analysis

• Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and financial storytelling

• Strong Excel skills (i.e., v-lookups, pivot tables)

• Experience with data visualization in PowerPoint similar tools

• Familiarity with SAP and Power BI

• Proven ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings clearly to business stakeholders including executives.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time

Added bonus if you have

• MBA or advanced degree in a related field

• Project Management experience or certification (i.e., PMP, CAPM)

• Prior experience working with AI to improve current processes

• Experience with vehicle lifecycle management, cost planning, or manufacturing finance

• Background in process improvement, standardization, or tool development
