Job Summary:
The Premium Sales Specialist is responsible for selling events and products within the Premium Business portfolio at Crypto.com Arena and L.A. LIVE, with a primary focus on multi-year premium licenses, including Private Suites, Tables & Lounges, and Club Seat Leases. Premium offerings provide access to LA Lakers, LA Kings, and LA Sparks games, as well as concerts and other special events. The Premium Sales Specialist will generate new business through proactive prospecting, networking, relationship building, face-to-face meetings, sales presentations, and customized outreach. This role will also cultivate relationships with existing clients and package buyers to identify opportunities for multi-year premium agreements and drive long-term revenue growth.
Essential Functions:
- Generate and close multi-year, six-figure premium hospitality agreements, including Private Suites, Tables & Lounges, and Club Seat leases.
- Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, key decision-makers, corporate clients, and high-value prospects.
- Conduct consistent face-to-face meetings with premium prospects and clients, with a minimum expectation of 20 meetings per month.
- Execute effective sales calls, emails, presentations, tours, and other outreach strategies to promote premium inventory and meet or exceed established sales objectives.
- Proactively prospect, network, solicit, and follow up on new business opportunities and self-generated leads.
- Develop and manage an active sales pipeline, maintaining accurate CRM activity, opportunity stages, and forecasting information.
- Negotiate contract terms and guide prospects through the sales and contracting process.
- Manage relationships with single-event rental, one-year, and multi-game package clients with the goal of identifying and converting opportunities into multi-year premium hospitality agreements.
- Attend regular meetings with Premium Sales leadership to review pipeline activity, performance metrics, sales strategies, and opportunities for new business.
- Collaborate closely with the Premium Sales team and other internal departments to maintain inventory integrity, deliver exceptional customer service, and maximize overall team performance.
- Demonstrate strong financial and analytical acumen when preparing proposals and calculating pricing, discounts, escalation rates, sales projections, and other financial components of premium agreements.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and effectively communicate the value of premium hospitality offerings to prospective and existing clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum education level of: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful experience in ticket sales, premium seating, hospitality, business development, or another high-revenue sales environment; premium seating or club seat sales experience preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients, executives, decision-makers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare proposals, presentations, reports, and professional correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop new business, manage a sales pipeline, and consistently work toward or exceed sales goals.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with executives, clients, groups, and prospective buyers.
- Highly organized with strong coordination, time management, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to calculate discounts, escalation rates, pricing, and sales projections.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, apply critical thinking, and solve complex problems involving multiple variables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales tracking systems; Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar platforms preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event days, in support of events, client entertainment, and business needs.
Payscale: $61,055 - $86,445
If not applicable: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
