About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to support the Payment Gateway Sales team across pre-sales activities, client solutioning and sales operations. The role will work closely with Sales, Product, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure smooth coordination, effective client engagement, and seamless business execution.

Expectations / Requirements:

•Generate and qualify enterprise leads through cold calling, outbound prospecting, and market research. 

•Understand prospect requirements, conduct initial discussions, and build a strong pipeline for the Enterprise Sales/KAM team. 

•Maintain lead pipeline, follow-ups, and accurate updates in CRM/internal systems. 

•Coordinate with Product, Technology, Integration, Risk and Operations teams for smooth merchant onboarding and integration. 

•Act as a SPOC for merchant queries, issues, and grievances, ensuring timely resolution and closure. 

•Track merchant onboarding, integration, and operational issues, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely resolution. 

•Leverage AI tools and automation to improve productivity, prospect research, reporting, and operational efficiency. 

Qualifications & Skills:

•2+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, Sales Support, Merchant Operations or similar roles.

•Strong experience in B2B/Enterprise lead generation, cold calling and lead qualification.

•Prior experience in Fintech, Payments, Banking or Technology preferred.

•Exposure to merchant onboarding, payment integration or merchant support is an added advantage.

•Strong communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with prospects, merchants and internal teams.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving and execution skills with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and CRM/reporting tools.

•Hands-on experience with AI tools to improve prospecting, research, reporting, productivity, and day-to-day execution is mandatory.

•Strong ownership, customer focus, and ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
