Practice Manager - NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Medical Group - Internal Medicine

This is a full time 40 hour work week exempt position from 8AM - 6PM located at 30 South Highland Street, Ossining, NY and 35 South Riverside Avenue, Croton-on-Hudson, NY locations. Must be willing to travel to both locations when needed.

As a Practice Manager, you will help mentor, inspire and engage staff.  You will be responsible for daily operations, practice leadership, and setting short-term and long-term goals for the Primary Care practice.

• Manage practice registration; scheduling, visit closing, billing/collection and clinical information processes and systems are functioning effectively and on a timely basis.
• Ensure effective operations in accordance with established NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group (NYPMG) procedures.
• Determines work schedules, including holiday and vacation time.
• Cultivates teamwork with a high level of communication amongst staff.
• Work closely with Directors to implement workflows to improve patient access and patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate activities, tools, etc. with other office and hospital departments/practices and service groups, as necessary.
• Maintain practice standards and adhere to quality goals and other performance criteria including budget to actual volumes.
• Preserve a safe environment including office procedures to sustain a high level of patient and staff safety.
• Performs all duties inherent to managerial role. Participates in hiring, training, evaluation and termination of assigned staff according to NYPMG policies and procedures.

Preferred Criteria

• Experienced Practice Manager within a Primary Care setting.
• Bachelor’s Degree

Required Criteria

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5 + years’ work experience
