PPC Specialist (Google Ads)
Hours: Monday - Friday. 9AM - 5PM CT
Remote: Independent Contractor LATAM Only
Hourly Wage: $1,800 - $2,800

We are seeking a hands-on PPC Specialist to support campaign execution and optimization across Google Ads accounts.

This role is focused on building campaigns, managing search terms, implementing negatives, and supporting ongoing performance improvements.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable working inside Google Ads daily to support growth initiatives.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and speed of execution are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Campaign Build & Setup

• Build and launch search, display, and performance campaigns
• Structure campaigns based on strategy and account needs
• Implement keyword targeting and match types
• Upload and manage ad creatives and extensions

Optimization & Performance Management

• Conduct ongoing campaign optimizations
• Adjust bids, budgets, and targeting based on performance
• Identify opportunities to improve CTR, CPC, and conversions
• Monitor pacing and performance trends

Search Term & Negative Management

• Perform regular search term analysis
• Identify irrelevant traffic and add negative keywords
• Refine keyword targeting to improve efficiency
• Maintain clean and scalable keyword structures

Reporting & Insights Support

• Support performance reporting and analysis
• Flag performance changes and anomalies
• Collaborate with senior team members on insights
• Ensure data accuracy across platforms

Requirements

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable)

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
• Proven experience building, launching, and optimizing Search and Display campaigns from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of campaign structure, keyword strategy, match types, and ad extensions.
• Experience conducting search term analysis and implementing effective negative keyword strategies to improve campaign efficiency.
• Ability to optimize bids, budgets, targeting, and overall campaign performance based on data and KPIs.
• Experience managing multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and identify optimization opportunities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate campaign settings and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience managing Performance Max and YouTube Ads campaigns.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), conversion tracking, and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
• Experience with call tracking platforms such as CallRail or similar solutions.
• Exposure to additional paid media platforms, including Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, or Microsoft Ads.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker Studio or similar reporting platforms.
• Experience working with US-based clients or agencies in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) best practices.
• Google Ads Certifications (Search, Display, Measurement, or Performance Max) are a plus.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and analytics.
