THE ROLE  

You’ll be part of the Solution Architect team in Kerv Digital.

As a Power Platform Solution Architect, you'll be responsible for leading the design and architecture of enterprise-scale Microsoft Power Platform solutions. Working closely with customers, business stakeholders, delivery teams and developers, you will translate business requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable solution architectures that deliver measurable business outcomes.  

You will provide technical leadership across Microsoft Power Platform, Dataverse, Dynamics 365 CE, Copilot Studio and Azure services, ensuring solutions align with best practice architecture, security, governance and enterprise standards. While remaining technically credible, your primary focus will be solution architecture, stakeholder engagement, technical assurance and successful delivery outcomes.  

This role requires someone who can balance business needs with technical excellence, guide delivery teams through complex programmes, support presales activities and act as a trusted advisor to customers.  

Required Skills:    

• Significant experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and Azure.  
• Strong architecture experience covering Model-Driven Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages and Copilot Studio.  
• Deep understanding of Dataverse architecture, data modelling, security models, environment strategy and governance.  
• Experience designing complex integrations using APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management and related technologies.  
• Strong knowledge of Power Platform ALM, DevOps and release management practices, including deployment pipelines, managed solutions, source control and environment strategies.  
• Strong understanding of Power Platform security, governance and compliance, including DLP policies, managed environments, tenant controls and secure solution design.  
• Ability to define solution architecture across low-code and pro-code technologies, making pragmatic decisions based on business requirements and technical constraints.  
• Experience designing AI-enabled solutions, including Copilot Studio and emerging Microsoft AI capabilities.  
• Proven ability to lead technical discovery workshops, architecture reviews, design authority discussions and customer engagements.  
• Strong stakeholder management and consultancy skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.  
• Experience leading delivery teams and providing architectural governance across multiple projects.  
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, PL-400, AZ-305, AZ-204 or equivalent experience.  
• Active DV Clearance.

Responsibilities:   

You will likely demonstrate experience in some or all of the following:  

• Lead the architecture and design of Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions across a range of customer engagements.  
• Facilitate discovery workshops to understand customer objectives, business processes, technical requirements and constraints.  
• Create end-to-end solution architectures covering applications, data, integrations, security, environments and operational support models.  
• Define scalable architecture patterns, design principles and technical roadmaps aligned to customer goals and Microsoft best practices.  
• Collaborate with developers, consultants, business analysts and project managers to ensure successful solution delivery.  
• Provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, including architecture reviews, design assurance and risk management.  
• Define integration architectures between Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Azure and third-party systems.  
• Lead decisions regarding low-code versus pro-code approaches, ensuring solutions remain maintainable, scalable and cost-effective.  
• Design security, governance and compliance frameworks that support enterprise-grade implementations.  
• Support presales activities including solution shaping, estimating, proposal development, client presentations and demonstrations.  
• Review and assure solution designs produced by project teams, ensuring alignment to architectural standards.  
• Lead Proof of Concepts, technical spikes and innovation activities, including AI and Copilot-enabled solutions.  
• Establish and promote ALM, DevOps and governance best practices across delivery teams.  
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including performance, availability, security, accessibility and supportability.  
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout engagements.  
• Mentor consultants and developers, supporting their technical growth and encouraging knowledge sharing across the wider practice.  
• Contribute to the evolution of Kerv Digital accelerators, standards, methodologies and architecture frameworks.  
• Remain current with Microsoft technology advancements and advise customers on emerging capabilities and opportunities.  
• Other duties as reasonably requested.  

Desirable Skills:   

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry and broader Azure AI services.   
• Experience designing AI agents, Copilots or autonomous business process solutions.   
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.   
• Experience delivering solutions within regulated or security-sensitive environments.   
• Understanding of responsible AI principles and enterprise AI governance.   
• Experience contributing to technology strategy, innovation programmes or practice development initiatives.
