Position Overview 

The Customer MI & Reporting Executive will provide analytical and reporting support to the business, focusing on Customer Management Information (MI), Account Management reporting, and Power BI dashboard development. 

Working within the Strategy & Analytics team, the role holder will be responsible for producing, maintaining and enhancing customer and commercial reporting, supporting Account Management teams with actionable insights, and ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and timely performance data. The role will support ongoing reporting requirements, business projects, and reporting improvement initiatives during the fixed-term contract period. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities 

• Produce and maintain Customer MI and Account Management reporting across the business. 

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support commercial decision-making. 

• Support Account Management teams by providing reporting, analysis and insights on customer performance, trends and opportunities. 

• Ensure reporting is delivered accurately and within agreed timescales. 

• Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies, data issues and dashboard performance concerns. 

• Extract, validate and analyse data from multiple internal systems and databases. 

• Use SQL and other data tools to acquire and prepare data for reporting purposes. 

• Perform data cleansing and validation activities to ensure data quality and reporting accuracy. 

• Create meaningful visualisations and presentations that effectively communicate key business metrics to stakeholders. 

• Work with business users to understand reporting requirements and recommend appropriate Power BI solutions. 

• Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual reporting effort. 

• Assist with ad-hoc analysis, customer reviews, account performance reviews and commercial projects as required. 

• Document reporting processes and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. 

• Key Deliverables 

• Delivery of accurate and timely Customer MI and Account Management reporting. 

• Maintenance and enhancement of Power BI dashboards and self-service reporting tools. 

• Production of customer performance analysis and executive-level reporting packs. 

• Identification and resolution of reporting issues and data quality concerns. 

• Delivery of actionable insights that support customer retention, growth and commercial performance. 

• Reporting process improvements that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort. 

• Creation of clear reporting documentation and process guides. 

• Effective stakeholder support for reporting and analytical requests throughout the contract period. 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Experience producing management information (MI) and business performance reporting. 

• Experience using Power BI to create and maintain dashboards and reports. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively. 

• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources. 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders. 

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. 

Desirable 

• SQL querying and database experience. 

• Experience supporting Account Management, Commercial, Sales or Customer Success functions. 

• Knowledge of Power Query and DAX. 

• Experience within a customer-focused reporting environment. 

• Understanding of KPI development and performance measurement frameworks.
