Salary - £36,395.43 plus Veolia Benefits  

Hours - 40 per week 7.15am - 4.15pm Monday to Friday

Alternate Saturdays 0715 - 1315

Overtime each week is potentially available

What will you be doing?

• Safe operation of heavy mobile plant at both the landfill, transfer station & IBA facilities - Wheeled Loading Shovel, 360 Excavator, Dozer, Articulated Dumper, Agricultural Dumper, Tractor and Landfill Compactor- Training will be provided if needed
• Daily operator checks and handling of waste
• Maximise outgoing vehicle weights
• Routine site maintenance and cleaning of the facility
• Complete machine hours, defect sheets and other related paperwork

What are we looking for?

• Similar operational manual handling experience 
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety 

Desirable:

• Experience in waste industry/operations
• Mobile plant licences 
• Waste / Landfill experience
