Location: Nacogdoches, Texas
Schedule: Full-Time | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Site: Approximately 86 Associates

Greif is seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to lead our plastics manufacturing facility in Nacogdoches, Texas. Your ability to connect with associates, understand the operation, and turn opportunities into meaningful improvements will be critical to the plant’s continued success.
We’re looking for an experienced manufacturing leader who is visible on the plant floor, builds strong relationships, develops people, and drives continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Lead day-to-day operations for a plastics manufacturing facility of approximately 86 associates.
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership while building a culture of trust, accountability, and teamwork.
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and equipment performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to strengthen plant performance.
- Monitor production results, identify performance gaps, and implement practical solutions.
- Partner with maintenance, engineering, quality, safety, and other teams to address equipment and operational challenges.
- Coach, develop, and engage associates while establishing clear performance expectations.
- Support production planning, budgeting, and short- and long-term facility needs.
- Champion a strong culture of workplace safety.
What We’re Looking For
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly preferred (but not required).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Significant manufacturing leadership experience, preferably within a plant environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to be visible and engaged on the plant floor.
- Proven ability to improve manufacturing efficiency and operational performance.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
- Solid interpersonal skills and organization skills required
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build relationships, develop teams, and inspire confidence across the organization.
- ERP and Manufacturing Software: Proficiency in enterprise platforms like SAP or Oracle to track inventory, supply chains, and resource planning preferred

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $97,600.00 - $166,200.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between135,000.00 to150,000.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.Benefits Statement:
