As a result, we have a new opportunity for a Plant Manager to lead our team at our Howley Park plant.

So, what’s the mission?
You will lead all site production activities, compliance, and health and safety whilst developing a performance-driven culture emphasising ownership, accountability, transparency, and development of the facility and its people. You’ll engage the ‘hearts and minds' of the company’s employees to create and sustain a proactive culture in all disciplines across the site.

You’ll lead and manage site-based team members and need excellent communication and people management skills. Working closely with the National Operations Manager, you’ll implement a continuous improvement culture to ensure site KPIs are achieved.

What are the mission-critical skills?

• Experience of operating in a manufacturing site with responsibility for a team
• Experience in maximising the potential of others including development and performance management
• Demonstrable experience of driving and improving site performance
• Excellent IT skills including MS package including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills, both one-to-one and in a group setting
• Experience in implementing continuous improvement/lean manufacturing techniques e.g. 5s, DMAIC would be an advantage
• IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate desirable
