The Planning Clerk is responsible for Assists with production planning, material availability, inventory control, and on-time customer order fulfillment.

This position reports to the Manager Planning and is part of the Planning Department located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage production orders, demand forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely production, change implementation, and customer order fulfillment.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify capacity or demand gaps, and support continuous improvement in supply chain planning.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 2–5 years of experience in Production, Material, or Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, and distribution.
• Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, project management, and organizational skills.

Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Office-based role requiring frequent sitting, standing, walking, extended standing, and daily computer use.
• Requires local travel with a valid driver’s license and the ability to perform essential duties for extended periods.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Prior experience in continuous improvement, planning, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic English reading skills.

Bonus / Incentive Pay

Up to 10% of annual base salary 

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.  This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions. 

This job is also eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits and specifically medical card, dental allowance and optical allowance.  Details regarding these benefits will be provided separately.
