Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

Provide management of materials and equipment capacity relating to planning customer requirements, purchasing raw materials, scheduling of production orders to meet inventory objectives, customer delivery expectations, operational efficiencies and company objectives.

 

 

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Demonstrates safety leadership by complying with all safety rules, policies, regulations and procedures; participating in safety programs, and encouraging employee involvement from all employees in all safety activities.
• Develops economic order quantities and purchases materials and supplies related to production.
• Responsible for inventory of raw material, semi-finished and finished goods. 
• Responsible for all planning issues.
• Responsible for recording reasons for missed shipments.
• Works with vendors to expedite PO’s and STO’s to expedite production orders to meet customer demands
• Advise management of capacity constraints and/or underutilization across machine centers.
• Contracts and maintains the sale of regrind material.
• Knowledge of procedures, work instructions and associated forms as required.
• Other projects/duties as assigned.

·        Participates in and/or supports continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge in facilitating Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

 

WHAT WE VALUE

• Responsible for master schedule for plant production equipment.
• Revise production schedules, when required, due to backlogs, labor or material shortages, or other interruptions, collaborating with management, production, customer service

 

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

• Bachelor or Associate Degree with an emphasis on business courses preferred or equivalent years of related work and experience
• 2+ yrs. manufacturing/scheduling experience preferred
• ERP competency desired; SAP preferred

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $64,700 to $89,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on national averages and a geographic differential may be applied based on work location. Position may also be eligible for Amcor’s Management Incentive Plan / Sales Incentive Plan, which is an annual bonus program based on business and individual performance, as well as medical coverage and other health and welfare benefits. The salary range provided reflects the anticipated starting salary base pay for this role at the time of this posting and does not necessarily reflect full earning potential over the course of employment. This range is applicable to positions performed in jurisdictions with pay transparency requirements, including CA, CO, CT, HI, IL, MD, MA, MN, NV, NJ, NY, RI, VT, WA, Washington DC, as well as remote roles that may be performed in these locations. Compensation for roles performed outside of these jurisdictions may vary. The Company reserves the right to modify this range at any time.
