The Opportunity
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment and discharge planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units, and contributing to our resident's quality of life through assessment of appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence on our continuing care units. Other duties may include
providing clinical supervision to support staff and students.

Program summary:
Complex Care – for frail seniors who require the care of an interdisciplinary team to maintain and improve quality of life in safe, comfortable and supportive environments. Carewest offers a mix of secured and unsecured units.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Physical Therapy.
- Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta is required.
- AADL authorizer is an asset.
- Experience using physiotherapy in a clinical and/or continuing care setting an asset
New grads and physiotherapist interns welcome.
