The Role:

We are seeking a proactive, self-driven People & Culture Project Management Intern to take direct ownership of high-impact strategic initiatives at our Lausanne site.

Working with a degree of autonomy and supported by regular mentorship from senior leadership, you will bridge the gap between compliance, employee experience, and talent community engagement. This is a hands-on role perfect for an ambitious individual looking to build end-to-end project management experience in a global, fast-paced environment.

1. Internship Programme Revamp & Employee Experience

• Review & Benchmark: Audit our current local internship framework and benchmark against Swiss industry standards.
• Journey Mapping: Design and optimize the end-to-end intern lifecycle (onboarding, mid-term check-ins, offboarding, and feedback loops).
• Experience & Engagement: Measure intern satisfaction, gather actionable insights, and implement tangible improvements to elevate our intern community experience.

2. Labor Law & Contract/Visa Compliance

• Contract Management: Review and standardize all Swiss contract types (full-time, part-time, student, hourly).
• Work Permit Audits: Streamline local (Vaud) visa and work permit application processes for EU and non-EU employees.
• Compliance Guidelines: Create clear Swiss labor law guides for HR and managers to ensure legal compliance.

3. Alumni Network & Employer Branding

• Alumni Strategy: Research, design, and pitch a structured Employer Branding program specifically tailored for former employees and interns.
• Engagement Channels: Define communication touchpoints (e.g., LinkedIn group, newsletter, event concepts) to maintain strong relationships with top alumni talent.

4. Contractor Process Optimization and Automation Project 

• Process Mapping & Streamlining: Map the end-to-end contractor lifecycle. Identify redundancies, manual data entry points, and bottlenecks across our current tool stack. Propose and help implement workflow automations to connect our systems more effectively.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• Education: Recently completed a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Swiss Law, or a related field.
• Languages: Native/Fluent proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Swiss Market Knowledge: Good understanding of Swiss labor law principles and Swiss work permit categories is strongly preferred.
• Project Ownership: Ability to take initiative, structure unstructured tasks, and execute projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally across all organizational levels.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: A structured approach when handling contracts, legal frameworks, and program evaluations.
• Creative & Community-Minded: Innovative mindset when designing alumni engagement and employee experience initiatives.
