Join Our Culinary Team:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Sous Chef to support the Pastry Chef in leading our pastry kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical pastry skills, creativity, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen.
• Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, and specialty items.
• Support the Pastry Chef in menu development, recipe standardization, and seasonal offerings.
• Supervise, train, and motivate pastry team members to maintain high performance standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and cost control.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of food products.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and productivity initiatives within the department.
• Collaborate with other culinary and food & beverage teams to support hotel operations and special events.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, or a related field.
• Experience in Same position within luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, or renowned pastry establishments.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, chocolate work, cake decoration, and dessert preparation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
• Passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Exposure to international pastry and dessert concepts.
• Experience leading multicultural teams.
