YOU

As a Parts Handler, you will hang, remove, move, inspect, and package parts to keep production flowing efficiently and safely. You’ll work independently, maintain quality standards, and support LEAN initiatives while helping the team meet production goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Hang and remove parts from the powder coat line, adjusting hooks and ensuring continuous line flow. (40%)

Package finished products, apply labels, palletize goods, and maintain a clean, organized work area. (25%)

Perform quality inspections using production drawings and specifications; visually inspect for defects and communicate issues to leadership. (20%)

Move parts and materials using carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts; use computers, scanners, and label machines to complete work orders. (10%)

Train employees on equipment and processes used in the Parts Handler role. (5%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform frequent physical activities including walking (normal, uneven, or slippery surfaces), standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, twisting, reaching, and repetitive hand/foot motions.
• Basic English reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and identify BOM information on work orders.
• Experience using measuring tools such as protractors, squares, and tape measures; understanding acute and obtuse angles.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and equipment operation.
• Ability to stay focused and work at a fast pace while maintaining quality standards.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions when needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

This job does not require travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, non-exempt, Union position is located in Stockton, CA. It is not eligible for remote work. This is a Swing shift position (3:30pm – 12:00am).

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$18.00 / hour
