Core Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Teaching includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Teaching assignments.

• Classes run 4-8 weeks, 1-2 days a week, 2 hours to 3 hours each class at various CSN campus locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley. Classes are typically held during evening hours; however, Saturday classes are available during morning hours.

Duties may include, but not be limited to, any of the following

• Meeting and assisting students outside of class time.

• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices.

• Student-centered / listening / verbal communication / organizational skills.

• Familiarity with adult education administration and student services.

• Possess organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• This position requires instructors to maintain a sign-in sheet, record attendance and maintain a pass/fail grade report for students per class. 

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and experience teaching.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with a diverse/multicultural student body and/or workforce.

Salary Range

$25.00 Hourly
