Role Definition

Work with manufacturing team or end customer and global packaging team to bring out a best packaging design to meet New Model launch metrics such as Safety, Quality, Velocity, Cost ,and Sustainability.

Responsibilities

·   Coordinates packaging approval between global packaging team and end user.

·   Coordinating agreement with Supply Chain on Returnable packaging loop size/inventory and drives procurement through standard process.

·   Coordinating between supplier and cross functional team for global packaging team approval conducts proto validation and get sign-off from stake holders.

·   Achieving new model launch metrices, score card etc.

·   Identifying cost reduction and sustainability opportunities with support from a cross functional team.

·   Maintaining existing packaging design as needed.

·   Conducting audit of supplier packaging to improve packaging quality.

·   Encouraging Customer Ready Packaging.

·   Resolving packaging suppliers’ issues or concerns in collaboration with them.

·       This position requires working onsite five days a week.

·       Global relocation is not provided.
