About Your Workplace

Join Miele's Outlet team and take the lead in delivering exceptional customer experiences while driving the success of our retail operations. As an Outlet Supervisor, you'll combine your passion for sales and customer service with hands-on operational leadership, ensuring customers enjoy the premium Miele experience while discovering exceptional value across our appliance range.

Reporting to the National Outlet Manager, this is a varied role where you'll lead and develop a team, drive sales performance and take ownership of the day-to-day running of the Outlet. Perfect for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, working autonomously and making a tangible impact on business performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Sales & customer experience: Deliver exceptional customer service, providing expert product advice and driving sales to achieve financial and performance targets.
• Team leadership: Lead, coach and motivate the Outlet team, fostering a positive, customer-focused and high-performing environment.
• Outlet operations: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient coordination of showroom and warehouse activities.
• Stock & inventory management: Manage stock levels, movements, pricing and regular stocktakes, ensuring inventory accuracy and identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
• Merchandising & presentation: Maintain premium showroom standards, ensuring products are presented, priced and displayed in line with Miele guidelines.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Service, Warehouse and other internal teams to coordinate stock movements, customer referrals and operational requirements.
• Events & continuous improvement: Support promotional campaigns, sales events and process improvements while maintaining a safe, organised and compliant workplace.

What We Are Looking For

Must-have:

• Strong retail sales experience with a proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and motivate others in a retail or customer-focused environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage daily operations, stock and competing priorities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a proactive, customer-first approach.
• High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate stock records and uphold premium presentation standards.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in retail supervision, store management or operational leadership.
• Background in premium retail, appliances, furniture, homewares or consumer electronics.
• Forklift licence and experience in warehouse or inventory operations.
• Experience with stock management, merchandising and inventory reconciliation.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
