Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end solution design and implementation of Oracle Fusion RMCS as part of strategic Finance and Billing Transformation programs.
- Serve as the techno-functional lead for Revenue Recognition, translating complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions.
- Own the RMCS solution architecture, including Revenue Contracts, Performance Obligations, SSP, Revenue Allocation, Revenue Recognition Rules, Contract Modifications, and Satisfaction Events.
- Design and govern revenue recognition processes in alignment with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards across diverse business models.
- Define and oversee integration architecture between RMCS and upstream/downstream platforms, including ERP, Billing, CRM, CPQ, Order Management, and Subscription Management.
- Lead requirements workshops, solution blueprinting, fit-gap assessments, CRPs, UAT, deployment planning, and go-live activities.
- Establish best practices for data governance, migration, reconciliation, controls, and reporting to ensure financial integrity and auditability.
- Drive process optimization, automation initiatives, and adoption of Oracle Fusion best practices and roadmap capabilities.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to resolve complex functional and technical challenges and deliver transformation outcomes.
- Provide thought leadership, mentoring, and governance across functional, technical, and implementation teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with significant hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS).
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, including ASC 606 and IFRS 15 compliance requirements.
- Proven experience designing and implementing RMCS solutions for complex revenue scenarios, including subscriptions, usage-based billing, contract modifications, and multi-element arrangements.
- Expertise in Oracle Fusion integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, and related integration frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials modules, particularly RMCS, Accounts Receivable (AR), Order Management (OM), General Ledger (GL), Subscription Management, and Project Billing.
- Experience with data migration, reporting, reconciliation, and analytics using OTBI, BI Publisher, and SQL.
- Strong stakeholder management, solution architecture, and cross-functional leadership capabilities with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Financials Certification with 10 yrs of exp.
- Experience with SaaS, Technology, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, or Subscription-based businesses.
- Experience working in global implementations.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Experience leading offshore/onshore teams.
