SUMMARY

The Office Manager is responsible for a variety of duties supporting the Columbus, Dayton, and Cleveland offices. Working primarily at the Columbus office, you will have the ability to work independently on projects and work collaboratively to handle a wide variety of activities and handle confidential matters within the office. This role is ideal for the person who loves to multitask and prefers an ever-changing, challenging, and developing environment.

 This is an in-office position, and the candidate must be based in our Columbus, OH office.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Main point of contact and liaison between The Shipyard and the office building management for all Ohio office locations (Columbus, Dayton, and Cleveland)
• Coordinate deliveries, catering, and service needs at our Cleveland and Dayton offices, with the occasional need to travel to those offices
• Manage the aesthetics of the offices
• Liaison between vendors (other than IT vendors), including but not limited to building contractors, janitorial services, and construction contractors
• Order supplies for the break room/kitchen and office supplies across Ohio offices
• Support facilities planning for the office
• Support Account Management and Client Engagement teams with room setup, catering, and meeting logistics for client meetings across Ohio offices
• Go-to person for general office needs, ordering supplies, etc. across Ohio offices
• Coordinate office events, including but not limited to event planning and execution (agency all-hands meetings, holiday parties, summer company events, off-site meetings, external/client events) across Ohio offices
• Coordinate weekly office lunches during mandatory in-office days
• Package shipping and receiving
• Other duties, as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• 3+ years minimum relevant experience as an Office Manager
• Possess the ability to handle confidential information
• Technology savvy – able to easily learn new applications
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to work autonomously
• Must be proactive and able to look at the big picture of any situation that should arise
• Advertising agency experience is preferred
• Valid driver’s license (must be comfortable commuting to Dayton and Cleveland offices once a month; mileage will be reimbursed at the Business Mileage Rate set by the IRS)

• The overall target range of base compensation for this role is $65,000 - $70,000. Compensation offered will be determined by additional factors such as location and experience
