Sobre esta vaga de Office & Facilities Manager na Supermassive Games
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Office & Facilities Manager to keep our studio safe, compliant and running smoothly.
This is a standalone, hands-on role with genuine ownership - you'll be doing as much as you're organising. You’ll be our go-to person for the building, from health, safety and fire to maintenance, contractors and the facilities budget. You’ll also look after the day-to-day running of the office and help bring the studio together for events. If you’re self-sufficient, like variety, and get satisfaction from putting good routines in place and seeing things through, you’ll fit right in.
You’ll report to the HR Director and work closely with teams across the studio, particularly IT, HR and Leadership.
What you’ll be doing
- Looking after the building: being our main contact with the landlord and building management, doing regular walk-rounds to spot issues early, keeping on top of servicing and inspections, and getting contractors in (and checking their work) when something needs a specialist.
- Keeping us safe: as the studio’s competent person for health, safety and fire, you’ll carry out risk assessments (including COSHH and DSE), run fire alarm tests and evacuation drills, keep our first aiders and fire marshals trained, and record and follow up incidents, including RIDDOR reporting.
- Keeping the office running day to day: ordering supplies and snacks, sorting post and deliveries, booking couriers and catering, issuing access cards, and making sure meeting rooms, kitchens and shared spaces are stocked and ready to use.
- Budget and suppliers: tracking facilities spend, placing orders, raising POs and processing invoices, and negotiating renewals with suppliers.
- Space, moves and sustainability: keeping floor plans and desk allocations current, planning and helping with internal moves on the day, collecting our energy and waste data, and finding practical ways to cut our impact.
- Studio events: working with HR and project teams to set up and clear down events, from all-studio meetings to game launches and awareness days.
