Our client in Cheshire East is recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join its Adult Social Care service. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist to develop their expertise within a supportive local authority environment, undertaking person-centred assessments and delivering interventions that promote independence, wellbeing, and improved outcomes for adults living within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Occupational Therapy assessments for adults in the community
• Assess for equipment, adaptations, and moving & handling needs
• Support independence through strengths-based interventions
• Work closely with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and assessment reports
• Contribute to safe discharge planning and community support where required

Requirements

• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
• Adult Social Care or Community OT experience
• Knowledge of equipment, adaptations, and moving & handling
• Strong assessment and communication skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload
