- Perform daily system checks to ensure critical systems and services are operational
- Knowledge and usage of SolarWinds, Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Meraki, ThousandEyes or similar monitoring tools.
- Schedule flexibility with the ability to work non-standard business hours.
- A keen analytical and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Use our ServiceNow tool to track workflow.
- Incident Detection and Response: respond to alerts and incidents reported by monitoring systems or other sources.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: investigate and resolve network issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams.
- Communication and Escalation: communicate with relevant teams and stakeholders about incidents and their resolution.
- Documentation: document all incidents, resolutions, and actions taken.
- Incident Prioritization: prioritize incidents based on severity and impact.
- Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- SolarWinds, cisco tools experience highly preferred
- Putty/ SecureCRT commands line experience
- Knowledge with cisco SDWAN (Meraki, vManage,1000eyes) preferred
- Knowledge with cisco routers/switches/firewalls preferred
- Knowledge of basic usage of AI tools like Cisco AI assistant/Chat GPT/Copilot etc. for incident triage (preferred)
- Proven ability to work independently
Education/Training
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in related field strongly preferred, or equivalent degree/work experience
Experience & Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- CCNA preferred but not mandatory.
