We’re looking for a Application Architect (.NET) to join us at Telia. 

I am Eva Tallat-Kelpšienė, leading the Sourcing and Supply Chain Solutions team at Telia Group. We are strengthening our architecture and delivery capabilities for key order, logistics, device support, and product planning applications, and are looking for an experienced .NET application architect to guide requirements, solution design, development direction, and technical roadmaps. 

This role is responsible for leading architecture, requirement gathering, development alignment, and roadmap planning for business-critical .NET/ASP.NET applications. These applications support order management, logistics, device repair, product catalog, inventory visibility, and planning processes across several Telia markets. 

What you’ll do: 

• Lead requirement gathering and solution clarification with business stakeholders, product owners, service owners, developers, vendors, and integration partners. 

• Own and develop technical roadmaps for internal Telia systems dedicated for order orchestration, delivery, buyback, repair, balancing business priorities, lifecycle management, compliance needs, performance, maintainability, and modernization opportunities. 

• Translate business needs into clear solution designs, development backlogs, technical specifications, interface requirements, and delivery plans. 

• Guide development teams and suppliers in delivering reliable enhancements for applications with high integration complexity, including order flows, inventory, ERP integrations, repair partner integrations, catalog data, and reporting flows. 

• Support DevOps ways of working across development and maintenance, ensuring quality, traceability, documentation, release readiness, and smooth handover to operations. 

• Contribute to incident, service request, problem, and root cause analysis activities where architectural or integration expertise is required. 

• Ensure solutions are aligned with Telia standards for security, compliance, auditability, integration-heavy solutions, lifecycle management, data protection, and service continuity. 

• Plan and support activities during product launches, campaign peaks, M&A-related changes, and connected-system downtimes where application availability and coordination are critical. 

• Act as a trusted technical sparring partner for business and IT stakeholders, helping shape future application capabilities and modernization direction. 
  

What will help you thrive in this role:  

• 5+ years of experience in .NET/.NET Framework or ASP.NET solution development, including several years in a lead developer, or technical lead role. 

• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, REST/API integrations, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular would be an advantage. 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience. 

• Experience designing or modernizing integration-heavy business applications, preferably in order management, logistics, device support, product catalog, inventory, ERP, or partner integration domains. 

• Ability to structure and lead requirement workshops, clarify complex business needs, challenge assumptions, and convert input into actionable technical scope. 

• Solid understanding of cloud-based application delivery, Windows Server environments, SQL databases, CI/CD, testing practices, release management, and DevOps collaboration. 

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical choices clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

• Fluent English and ability to work effectively with distributed teams, vendors, and stakeholders across Nordic and Baltic countries. 

• Willingness to support business-critical incidents, launches, or campaign periods outside regular working hours when required.

Monthly salary range for this position - 4320 to 6480 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
