Job Summary:**
The Mixing Engineer at Iyuno is responsible for delivering high-quality audio mixes for various media projects, ensuring a polished and immersive sound experience that meets client specifications and industry standards.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Mix and master audio tracks for a variety of content, including film, television, animation, and digital media, adhering to specific technical and creative guidelines.
* Collaborate with audio directors, sound designers, and dialogue editors to achieve desired sonic aesthetics and storytelling goals.
* Perform comprehensive quality control checks on all mixed audio to identify and rectify any technical issues, inconsistencies, or defects.
* Optimize audio levels, equalization, compression, and other processing techniques to create a balanced, clear, and impactful soundstage.
* Manage and organize audio assets, project files, and session data efficiently.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, audio technologies, and mixing software to continuously improve skills and workflows.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio hardware, software, and studio equipment.
* Ensure all deliverables meet required technical specifications, including loudness standards (e.g., CALM Act, EBU R128).
* Provide constructive feedback and contribute to the overall improvement of audio production processes.
* Work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Job Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Mixing Engineer in a post-production or studio environment.
* Expert proficiency with industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools.
* Strong understanding of audio signal flow, acoustics, psychoacoustics, and various mixing techniques.
* Demonstrated ability to create compelling and balanced audio mixes for diverse content types.
* Excellent ear for detail, critical listening skills, and a strong understanding of sound aesthetics.
* Familiarity with various audio codecs, delivery formats, and loudness standards.
* Experience with audio restoration and repair tools is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Portfolio or reel showcasing previous mixing work is highly desirable.
