You will lead medical affairs activities for anti-infectives in Pakistan. You will work closely with medical, commercial, regulatory, and research colleagues to shape local medical strategy and deliver scientific exchange with healthcare professionals. Responsibilities

• Provide trusted medical and scientific support for anti-infective therapy areas to internal teams and external healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement annual medical plans aligned with business and patient needs.
• Plan and deliver local medical engagement activities, including advisory boards, scientific meetings, speaker interactions, and congress support.
• Ensure all medical activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and ethical standards.
• Gather and communicate actionable medical insights from field working to internal stakeholders.
• Lead or support local evidence generation activities, including investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence initiatives.
• Translate clinical data into clear, relevant medical education and scientific content for diverse audiences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key external experts, clinicians, and scientific societies.
• Provide medical input to cross-functional planning, ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.

Education, Experience and Skills

• MBBS is required for this role.
• Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in Medical Affairs, clinical practice, clinical research, or a related role.
• Good clinical knowledge of infectious diseases and anti-infective therapies.
• Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and building trusted scientific relationships.
• Proven ability to interpret and present clinical data clearly, both in writing and verbally.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple activities on time.
• Experience designing or managing local clinical research or investigator-initiated studies.
• History of publications, congress presentations, or leadership in scientific forums.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with commercial, regulatory, and access colleagues.
• Familiarity with medical compliance frameworks and standards for interactions with healthcare professionals.
• Prior experience in the Pakistan healthcare environment or regional anti-infectives experience.
• A patient-centred mindset and commitment to improving clinical care.
• Clear, concise communication that makes complex science accessible.
• Collaborative approach and respect for colleagues and external partners.
• Ethical judgement and adherence to compliance and transparency.
