Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Mechanical Design Engineer, based in BGC, Taguig. The position is responsible for producing and supporting mechanical engineering designs, and associated technical documentation for sales bids, detailed design and Operational projects.

What you’ll do as a Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Prepare mechanical designs and engineering solutions for Aggreko's power generation, temperature control, and energy projects.
- Develop mechanical layouts, 3D models, P&IDs, piping drawings, equipment arrangements, and other design deliverables using CAD software.
- Design and support balance-of-plant systems, including cooling, ventilation, fuel, exhaust, piping, and other auxiliary mechanical systems.
- Perform engineering calculations and assist in the selection and specification of mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, heat exchangers, chillers, valves, and tanks.
- Coordinate with sales, project, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver project designs, proposals, site support, technical reviews, and commissioning assistance.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and engineering standards while maintaining project documentation, as-built records, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) certification considered an advantage.
- At least 5 years of mechanical design experience in power generation, energy, utilities, temperature control, or industrial applications.
- Knowledge of diesel and gas power generation systems and mechanical balance-of-plant equipment.
- Proficient in mechanical equipment sizing, engineering calculations, and the design of piping, cooling, ventilation, fuel, and exhaust systems.
- Ability to prepare and interpret P&IDs, mechanical layouts, equipment arrangements, and engineering drawings, with a solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with knowledge of international engineering standards and proficiency in English.
Desired Skills:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong electrical power-system design and computer design skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience in electrical engineering tools/software such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP or EasyPower.
- Ability to prepare clear engineering calculations, technical documentation and drawings and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
